Scheduling policy


Payment terms and policies

At Best Service Lawn Care LLC, our payment terms and policies are as follows:

1. Invoicing: We will send an invoice for services rendered after the work has been completed.

2. Payment due date: Payment is due within 14 days of receiving the invoice.

3. Payment methods: We accept payment by check, cash, and credit card.

4. Late payment: If payment is not received within 14 days of the invoice date, we reserve the right to charge a late payment fee of 2% per month until payment is received.

5. Deposits: A deposit may be required for larger projects or for new customers.

6. Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule a service, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. If you do not give us at least 24 hours' notice, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the total cost of the service.

7. Refunds: Refunds will only be issued if there is an error on our part or if we are unable to complete the work as agreed upon.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy is an important part of any service agreement. It outlines the conditions under which a client can cancel a service or appointment, as well as the terms of any refunds or fees that may apply. At Best Service Lawn Care LLC, we have a cancellation policy that ensures our clients receive a fair and reasonable treatment if they need to cancel our services.

Our Cancellation Policy states that clients must notify us at least 24 hours before their scheduled appointment if they wish to cancel. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee. In the event that we need to cancel a service or appointment, we will do our best to provide adequate notice and reschedule the appointment as soon as possible.

Deposit Policy

This deposit policy helps to ensure that Best Service Lawn Care LLC has the necessary funds to cover the costs of supplies and materials required for a job, while also providing customers with a clear understanding of the terms and conditions for making a deposit payment.


Pet waste policy 

At Best Service Lawn Care LLC, we love pets and understand that they are an important part of your family. However, pet waste can be a nuisance and a health hazard to you and your family, as well as your neighbors. We ask that you please pick up after your pets before we arrive for lawn care services.

If our lawn care technicians encounter pet waste on your lawn, we will do our best to avoid it. However, we cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by pet waste that has not been picked up before our arrival. If we are unable to complete our work due to excessive pet waste on your lawn, we may need to reschedule for a later date, and you may be charged an additional fee for the inconvenience.

Snow Removal Policy

1. Access

The Client must keep the driveway and designated service areas free from parked vehicles, trash cans,

equipment, and other obstructions. Blocked or unsafe areas may be skipped at the Contractor’s

discretion and will not be refunded.

2. Trigger Depth & Timing

Snow removal service is automatically dispatched at 2 inches of snowfall unless otherwise specified in

writing. Service timing may vary depending on storm severity, route scheduling, traffic, and safety

conditions.

3. Ice & Packed Snow

Standard snow removal includes plowing and clearing only unless ice management is included in the

selected service package. The Contractor is not responsible for slippery conditions caused by

refreezing, packed snow, freezing rain, or black ice.

4. Stacking & Snow Placement

Snow will be piled in reasonable locations on the Client’s property as determined by the Contractor for

safety and efficiency. Snow relocation or hauling off-site is not included but may be provided for an

additional fee.

5. Obstructions & Damages

The Contractor is not liable for damage to items hidden beneath snow, including but not limited to

extension cords, hoses, decorations, landscape lighting, edging, loose gravel, or any other concealed

objects.

6. Equipment & Surface Wear

Normal wear to asphalt, concrete, gravel, or paver surfaces caused by plows, shovels, or snow blowers

is expected seasonal wear and not considered damage.

7. Delays & Extreme Weather

The Contractor is not responsible for delays or inability to perform services due to road closures, severe

traffic conditions, equipment failure, power outages, or extreme or hazardous storms. Service will

resume as soon as reasonably safe and possible.

8. Liability

The Client understands that slippery conditions may still occur between service visits and remains

responsible for maintaining safe walking and driving surfaces. The Contractor’s liability is limited to the

value of the service contract and applies only in cases of proven negligence.

9. Payment Terms

Full payment is due before the service start date unless other written arrangements have been

approved.

10. Contract Term, Refunds & Cancellation

The contract is valid only for the agreed service period. No refunds are provided once the seasonal

period begins, except where required by law. Early cancellation does not guarantee a refund and may

include a cancellation fee. The Contractor may terminate service for non-payment, unsafe conditions,

or repeated access issues.

11. Photos & Documentation

The Contractor may take photos of completed work for service records, quality control, and marketing

use. No personal or sensitive information will be shared.

12. Insurance

Best Service Lawn Care LLC carries full liability insurance for snow removal operations.

13. Entire Agreement

This policy, along with selected services and written notes, represents the entire agreement between

the Client and Best Service Lawn Care LLC for snow removal services at the listed property.
